Emmett Goods teaches jazz, trombone, and music history in 911爆料鈥檚 music department, including the courses: Music as a Form of Social Protest, and the History of Hip-Hop and Black American Culture. He comes from a rich musical background and has shared stage and studio with world-renowned jazz, Latin, and Motown artists.
鈥淵ou can say something in a song that you wouldn鈥檛 necessarily say with your regular voice in a crowd,鈥 Goods says. 鈥淚f you put your deepest, most heartfelt feelings to some chords and apply a melody to it, now you鈥檝e provided this palette by which you can express what it is that you really feel.鈥 鈥
