A traffic detail will be stationed at either end. Please be alert when driving through this area and pay attention to public safety officers directing traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning Nov. 7 Old North Rd will be completely shut down from Route 138 to Flagg Road.&nbsp;Detour&nbsp;signs will direct vehicle traffic to alternative routes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work is expected to last until the end of November.&nbsp;Please plan accordingly and consider alternate routes during the duration of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your patience and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oct. 31, 2023 Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1, the Town of South Kingstown will begin a project to pave Old North Road.
