The panel runs from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Anchor Room of the Higgins Welcome Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading the discussion will be three faculty members who were recognized in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2023\/05\/2023-spotlight-on-faculty-innovation-in-general-education\/\">2023 Spotlight on Faculty Innovations in General Education<\/a>: Saheli Goswami, assistant professor in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design; David Howard, professor of Theatre; and Melissa Boyd-Colvin and Melissa Camba-Kelsay, director and assistant director, respectively, of the Center for Student Leadership Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come hear the creative and innovative teaching practices they have used in their general education courses, including the activities, assignments and teaching strategies that enhance our students\u2019 general education experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty are asked to register in advance for the event.
