In addition, the policy on <em>Fire Watches<\/em> was retired and returned to Public Safety to manage. These renewed policies can be found at the University\u2019s Administrative Policies <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/\">webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Administration of Sponsored Agreements and Gifts<\/em><\/strong><br>Also effective June 6, the University has updated the policy on the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/find\/?_sf_s=sponsored%20agreements\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/find\/?_sf_s=sponsored%20agreements\">Administration of Sponsored Agreements and Gifts<\/a><\/em>. This policy addresses the types, and separation, of funds that flow to the University from third-party sources.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Relocation Allowances<\/em><\/strong><br>Effective July 1, the University has placed in service a new policy on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/find\/?_sf_s=relocation\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/find\/?_sf_s=relocation\">Relocation Allowances<\/a><\/em>. This policy allows for the use of relocation allowances in the hiring of non-classified University employees, streamlining the process and creating an employment incentive for new employees.
