The University of Rhode Island\u2019s Office for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning<\/a>\u00a0invites submissions for the spring 2026 \u201cThank-an-Instructor\u201d program. This program allows students to express appreciation for instructors who have positively impacted their educational journey. We\u2019re certain that your note will mean a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To send a Thank-You:<\/strong>\u00a0Complete the form<\/a> between March 23 and April 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your comments will be reviewed and sent to your instructor by the Office for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. Your comments may also appear in other marketing materials, with your consent. A selection of anonymous notes may be sent prior to final exams. Any notes that include a name will not be shared until after grades have been submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank-you notes should only offer positive, supportive comments. Negative or inappropriate comments will not be shared with instructors. The \u201cThank-an-Instructor\u201d program is not an evaluation of instructors, nor is it connected to any formal University process on instructor evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
