These commitments define the kind of 911爆料 we strive to be and guide our journey as a leading research university. Our policies, procedures, and standards grow out of this foundation\u2014they set shared expectations and help ensure our commitments are reflected in how we operate every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Equally important are our everyday choices and actions. How we treat one another, listen with respect, speak up when something matters, and work through challenges together helps us do what is right and protect the well-being and reputation of our university. We hold ourselves and each other accountable to high standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we invite you to take a few minutes to reconnect with this foundation and your role in it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take a moment to reflect on our <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/president\/strategic-plan\/mission-vision-and-values\/\">mission, vision, and core values<\/a> and the impact you have in advancing them every day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/policies\/\">academic and administrative policies<\/a> to stay aligned with our shared commitments as a university. Spend a moment reconnecting with your department\u2019s policies and procedures and ask questions if anything is unclear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider how your everyday actions, conversations, and decisions align with university policies and contribute to a respectful, ethical environment.
