Feb. 6, 2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow and dangerously cold conditions across Southern New England, including Kingston, this weekend. Snow is expected to begin late Friday night, with the heaviest snowfall on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University will institute a partial parking ban beginning tonight, at 8 p.m.<\/strong>, and ending Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 p.m.<\/strong>,to allow for snow clearing and surface treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a partial parking ban, parking is prohibited on any roadway or roadside  parking area throughout campus. Students, staff, and visitors with approved parking privileges may park in designated parking lots during a partial parking ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware of these restrictions and park only in approved locations. Vehicles  parked in areas where parking is prohibited during a partial parking ban will be ticketed and\/or towed at the owner\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
