The National Weather Service is forecasting significant snowfall for parts of Rhode Island, including Kingston, throughout the day today and into the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University will institute a partial parking ban beginning today, at 2 p.m., and ending Monday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m<\/strong>., to allow for snow clearing and surface treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a partial parking ban, parking is prohibited on any roadway or roadside parking area throughout campus. Students, staff, and visitors with approved parking privileges may park in designated parking lots during a partial parking ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware of these restrictions and park only in approved locations. Vehicles parked in areas where parking is prohibited during a partial parking ban will be ticketed and\/or towed at the owner\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
