{"id":106075,"date":"2025-12-26T15:59:56","date_gmt":"2025-12-26T15:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/?p=106075"},"modified":"2025-12-26T15:59:57","modified_gmt":"2025-12-26T15:59:57","slug":"partial-parking-ban-in-effect-tonight-beginning-at-10-p-m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2025\/12\/partial-parking-ban-in-effect-tonight-beginning-at-10-p-m\/","title":{"rendered":"Partial parking ban in effect tonight beginning at 10 p.m."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Dec. 26, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Weather Service is forecasting snowfall for parts of Rhode Island, including Kingston, this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University will institute a partial parking ban beginning <strong>Friday, Dec. 26, at 10 p.m., and ending Saturday, Dec. 27, at 4 p.m.<\/strong>, to allow for snow clearing and surface treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a partial parking ban, parking is prohibited on any roadway or roadside parking area throughout campus. Students, staff, and visitors with approved parking privileges may park in designated parking lots during a partial parking ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be aware of these restrictions and park only in approved locations.
