Aug. 25, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later this week, the University will begin to welcome thousands of new and returning students and their families for the start of the fall semester. On Friday, Aug. 29, fall move-in will officially begin and will continue through Monday, Sept. 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To accommodate the increase in traffic and to make move-in as smooth as possible for our students and families, parking lots west of Butterfield Road will be closed to faculty, staff and students\/commuters beginning Thursday, Aug. 28, at 11 p.m., through Monday, Sept. 1, at 6 p.m.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lot 13 (adjacent to Chafee and Beaupre halls), Lot 15 (adjacent to Roosevelt Hall) and Lot 18 (behind Hillside Hall) will also be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty, staff and students\/commuters affected by these closures are directed to lots east of Upper College Road where there is ample parking, including\u00a0Lot 1 (Briar Lane)<\/a> and Lots 6 and 7 (Fine Arts North and South). \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please visit the\u00a0campus map<\/a>\u00a0to view all parking on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We appreciate your cooperation during this period as we welcome our new 911±¬ΑΟ members to the 911±¬ΑΟ family. With an increase in campus activity and possible traffic pattern changes, please allow extra travel time, and please remember to be alert and use caution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
