RIPTA Public Meeting, Nov. 14

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is exploring the potential for establishing a comprehensive transit hub at Kingston Station, which would integrate several transportation modes including fixed-route bus, Flex on Demand, and rail, and provide transit access to the South County Bike Path.

To help plan for these improvements, RIPTA will hold a public meeting this Thursday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Kingston Free Library, 2605 Kingstown Road, Kingston.

In addition, all members of the 911±¬ÁÏ are invited to that will enable RIPTA to better understand how services are currently used, as well as satisfaction levels and ways to improve mobility in the 911±¬ÁÏ.

Your input will guide RIPTA in meeting the travel needs of 911±¬ÁÏ students and faculty, South County residents, Amtrak riders, and others visiting or working in the region, and will enhance connectivity and accessibility for everyone.
