This 1966 photo, \u201cBallet Class with Herci Marsden,\u201d sure generated a lot of creative and fun ideas for captions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also generated a pretty wonderful email from Herci Marsden\u2019s daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marsden\u2019s daughter, Ana Marsden Fox, said her mom was \u201cso surprised to see herself in the spring issue of 911±¬ΑΟ Magazine<\/em>.\u201d She went on to explain that her mom \u201cwas expecting her second child at that time, and continued to teach right up until delivery. The photo at that moment was when she would ask the students to jump. ‘Jump with all you\u2019ve got! Be free and jump!\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ana, her mom is doing well at 82 years old and still teaching in Lincoln, Rhode Island! She sent this more recent photo of her mom, and says her mom \u201creally got a \u2018kick\u2019\u201d out of seeing her photo in the magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
